This actually used to work really well. However, Google/Microsoft have clamped down and made it almost impossible for anyone to send a cold email without technical knowledge and $$$.

Overtime, people grew tired of generic sales pitches sitting in their inbox all of the time and Google/Microsoft spent billions on aggressive algorithms to stopped spam. Without knowledge and money you honestly can’t run any cold email campaign for longer than 3 days.

SPF, DKIM, Custom Tracking, Redirects, Non-western hosting domains, .com domains, optimal server IP, domain and mailbox reputation, email warm-up and the strategy needed.
Email Sending
Smartlead spintax, Clay personalisation, lead verification, lead scraping, catch-all verification, data enrichments, GPT prompts, bounce rate, data parsing, automated sending, sender IP rotations, inbox rotations, strategic scale strategies.
All this to just send an email to land in an inbox, never mind an actual good email that would get a lead. If you can’t do all of these things well then it just doesn’t work, hence the reason Traction is here :)
